This card is a required post-module reflection and accountability tool. Complete it after you finish the module to:

(1) report any assignments you did not complete,

(2) confirm weekly responsibilities,

(3) document STAR Aligning Actions you successfully completed

(4) explain what they you from the current module.

How to complete it (step-by-step)

  1. Header & Identification (complete sentences)
  2. Write your full name in the “Name” field.
  3. Assignments You Have Not Completed This Week
  4. List only the items you still owe. Use one line per item and describe it in a full sentence that includes the deliverable and when you will submit it.
  5. Example: “I did not submit my gel-polish troubleshooting quiz, and I will submit it by Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.”
  6. If everything is complete, write: “I completed all assigned work for this module.”
  7. Weekly Responsibilities Checklist
  8. Posted in the Skool Community
  9. Submitted Study Guide (if applicable)
  10. Completed All Assignments
  11. Attended All Required Classes
  12. Documented My Journey – assignment
  13. Practiced Skills for Required Services
  14. Worked on My Business Brand – business module in the Skool Community
  15. STAR Aligning Actions I Successfully Completed (past-tense, quantified, complete sentences)
  16. Report one completed action for each domain. Each sentence must include a measurable quantity and time bound.
  17. Personal/Spiritual:
  18. “I journaled for 10 minutes after lab on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to reflect on client care.”
  19. Physical:
  20. “I walked 3 miles on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to support my stamina behind the table.”
  21. Financial:
  22. “I saved $40 from this week’s tips and finalized my basic manicure price list by Friday at 6:00 p.m.”
  23. Professional:
  24. “I recorded two skill clips (cuticle work and polish application) and published one reel with a booking CTA by Sunday at 8:00 p.m.”

If you did not complete a STAR action, rewrite the sentence in the future tense with a firm make-up deadline and add it to the “Assignments I Have Not Completed” section. Example: “I did not post my reel; I will publish it by Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.”

  1. What I Learned About This Week’s Module (complete sentences, specific evidence)
  2. Write several complete sentences that explain your learning and cite concrete evidence (practice counts, timing data, scores, client feedback).
  3. Example paragraph:
  4. “This week I learned how complete base-coat and top-coat coverage affects wear and shine. I confirmed that oil on the nail plate reduces adhesion, because my test set with insufficient dehydration chipped within 48 hours, while my properly prepped set is intact after 6 days. I improved my polish timing from 32 minutes to 27 minutes by organizing my table and controlling product pickup. I also learned to maintain the lamp by cleaning the sensor area daily, which prevented inconsistent cures.”
  5. Submission & Record-keeping
  6. Submit this card in the LMS on the due date posted for your section.
  7. Keep a personal copy to track make-ups and to inform your next Beginning-of-Module Task Card.

Non-negotiable requirements

  1. This document is required at the end of the module, regardless of where you are in the curriculum.
  2. Use complete sentences throughout the entire card.
  3. STAR Aligning Actions must be reported in past tense, quantified, and time-bound (or rescheduled with a firm date if missed).
  4. If any assignments are incomplete, you must state a concrete make-up plan (what, when).
  5. Weekly responsibilities must include a sentence of confirmation and, when possible, evidence or location.

Example (model entry)

Name: Jordan Taylor

Assignments I Have Not Completed This Week:

  1. “I did not submit my ‘Lamp Sanitation SOP’ PDF, and I will submit it by Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.”

Weekly Responsibilities Checklist:

  1. “I posted a progress update titled ‘Prep Sequence Wins’ in the Skool Community on Sunday.”

  6. “I practiced the basic manicure sequence on two models and recorded my timing.”
  7. “I updated my service menu draft and revised my booking CTA.”

STAR Aligning Actions I Successfully Completed:

  1. Personal/Spiritual: “I journaled for 10 minutes after lab on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to reinforce a service-first mindset.”
  2. Physical: “I walked 3 miles on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to improve my stamina.”
  3. Financial: “I saved $40 from tips and finalized my basic manicure price list by Friday at 6:00 p.m.”
  4. Professional: “I recorded two skill clips and posted one reel with a booking CTA by Sunday at 8:00 p.m.”

What I Learned About the Current Module:

“I learned that thorough dehydration and complete base/top coverage significantly improve adhesion and shine. My controlled test showed that the set with proper prep remained intact after 6 days, while the set with insufficient dehydration chipped in 48 hours. By reorganizing my table and practicing pickup, I reduced my polish time from 32 minutes to 27 minutes. I also learned correct lamp maintenance and began cleaning the sensor area daily to avoid under-curing.”

Remaining Question & Next Step (optional):

“I want to know how to avoid wrinkling with dark gel colors at the edges. I will ask this during office hours and practice thin, even coats on three swatches by Thursday.”

If you’d like, Queen Angela, I can convert these directions into a 1-page printable that lives above the End-of-Module card in your LMS so every Nail Scientist follows the exact format each week.
