BASIC WATER MANICURE + POLISH APPLICATION

Demonstrate the Basic Manicure Technique & Outline the Steps in the Application of Nail Polish

You will perform a complete basic water manicure service that includes nail shaping, cuticle care, hand massage, and a full polish application (base coat, color, and top coat). This is your opportunity to practice real-time execution, understand your timing, and identify areas for improvement.

You are expected to document your full process from setup to final polish and include a personal reflection that builds your awareness as a Nail Scientist.

✅ Assignment Requirements:

1. 📸 Table Setup Photo or Video
2. Capture a clear image or short video (max 15 sec) of your fully disinfected and organized table setup before the service.
3. Ensure implements, materials, and products are visible and labeled if possible.
4. ⏱️ Time Tracking
5. Record the start and end time of your service.
6. Indicate total time taken and list the time spent on each phase:
7. Nail shaping
8. Cuticle care
9. Massage
10. Polish application

📋 Service Breakdown

Submit a brief written breakdown of the following:

1. Soak process and water temperature
2. Nail shape performed and why
3. Cuticle care approach
4. Massage movements used
5. Steps for polish (base coat, color coats, top coat)
6. Drying method used

📸 Final Look (Polish Results)

1. Submit a photo of the polished nails (well-lit, clean background).
2. Be sure polish is clean around the edges and cuticle line is respected.
