MILADY NAIL ART: HAND-PAINTED MINI SET: LINES • DOTS • FRENCH • OMBRÉ

Goal: Demonstrate control of pressure, pull, position with polish/paint.

Materials: 10 practice tips + holder, base/top coat, 2–3 polishes or acrylic paints, liner and spotter/detailer (or toothpicks for dots), sponge (for ombré), acetone/alcohol for cleanup, lint-free wipes.

Design Map (10 tips total):

  1. T1–T2: Straight striping lines (liner) — 5 parallel lines each, even start/finish.
  2. T3–T4: Dot control & floral (spotter) — uniform dots; 5-petal flower with center.
  3. T5–T6: Classic French — consistent smile lines; one soft-focus variant (sheer pink over white).
  4. T7–T8: Polish ombré (analogous) — smooth fade using sponge/brush; cap free edge.
  5. T9–T10: Combo tip — line + dot motif; repeatable salon pattern.

Steps:

  1. Prep tips (base coat if using polish).
  2. Execute in order above; keep coats thin; allow set time to avoid drag.
  3. Top coat; clean edges.

Deliverables:

  1. 1 photo of all 10 tips on stand
  2. 3 macro photos: (a) lines, (b) French smile line, (c) ombré transition
  3. 45–60s reel: show tools, one steady pull (line), one dot cluster, and the blend (no voiceover required)
  4. 3–5 sentences: what improved when you changed pressure or brush position
